There is a 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹 that pass throgh this village from Haldwani to Almora. There is a Dakbunglow which is now privately owned which was used by the British when they used to travel to Almora. there is a NGO that work towards 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 and local well being of the local 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻. Kasar: Kasar is famous because of Kasar Devi and it is said that Kasar Devi Temple in Uttarakhand is one of the only three places on this planet under the 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 that come within the Van Allen Belts discovered by NASA. Personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, DH Lawrence, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Tibetan Buddhism guru Lama Anagarika Govinda has visited Kasar.
